Minority deserts Parliament for ‘Won gbo’ demo

With only two New Patriotic Party (NPP) MPs reporting for duty in Parliament, a one-sided debate among the Majority National Democratic Congress (NDC)’s MPs has concluded, with the Customs Bill set for passage after a Second reading in Parliament.

JoyNews’ Elton John Brobby reports that only the chairman of Public Accounts Committee Kwaku Agyemang Manu and Kwabena Tenkorang are sitting in on Wednesday’s session.

NPP MPs have joined the ‘Won gbo’ demonstration in Accra where supporters and sympathizers are dramatizing Ghana’s crippling power crisis on the streets.
