Bismark Oppong grabbed a brace for Medeama in their 2-1 win over Eleven Wise to progress to the next stage of the Elite Cup on Wednesday.
After a drab first half Oppong took matters into his own hands to pull first blood for the Mauve and Yellows.
The youngster increased the tally to two through the spot kick before the visitors pulled a goal back.
Medeama could not find a way past the Eleven Wise goalkeeper as they recorded the narrow win and ensured their progression to the next stage of the competition.
The Tarkwa-based side will travel to Bechem to play Bechem United in the Ghana Premier League on Sunday.
