Coach Didi Dramani

Ghana league champions Asante Kotoko have officially suspended the services of head coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani after an emergency board meeting Monday.

In a letter seen by Goal Ghana dated February 16, 2015 and signed by board secretary, Ishmael Boachie, the body has asked the head coach to proceed on his accumulated 120-day leave with effect from Frebruary 17.

“As you are very much aware, you are entitled to a 120 days vacation (One Hundred and Twenty) covering the period 1st August 2012 to 31st July 2014,” the letter read in part.

“This effectively brings his tenure at the club to an end after almost three seasons,” a statement on the club’s website said.

The former Black Maidens coach is alleged to have lost his dressing room which has affected the club immensely this season. Kotoko lie 10th on this season’s league log after losing three matches out of seven games with eight points.

Dramani won two Premier League titles and one FA Cup trophy in his short spell with the Fabulous Club.

Goal understands that former Hearts of Oak head coach David Duncan is likely to be named the successor of Dramani and will be tasked to guide the Porcupine Warriors to a successful campaign in the Caf Champions League. Related
