Tactical change: AS Police will see different Hearts of Oak in Cotonou – Herbert Addo

Head coach of Hearts of Oak, Herbert Addo has assured his Beninese opponent in the 2015 CAF Confederation Cup that they will see a different Hearts of Oak team in Cotonou in fortnight time.

The Phobians laboured to beat AS Police 1-0 in the first leg of the CAF Confederation Cup thanks to Selasi Adjei’s 46th minute strike as the home side held on to their solitary goal to end the game.

‘We created decent chances that we should have been up by my more goals but unfortunately we didn’t put the ball in the net and AS Police were lucky in the game. But I want to assure them that in the second leg they will see different Hearts of Oak, we will be going into the game with a different team, different approach and different attitude so I think it will be a very good game in Cotonou ; for me the

1-0 scoreline is a loss to me so I have to win in Cotonou in 2 weeks time and what I’m praying for is fair officiating,’ Herbert Addo said after the game.

Also the captain of Hearts of Oak, Ruben Gnagne added his voice by saying – ‘the supporters came expecting something good from the team but there was a lot of pressure on the team but in the game we came all out, we prepared very well, we had the chances but we failed to score more goals so in 2 weeks time we will go to Cotonou and get a win.
