In a fix: Ahmed Toure unhappy at Kotoko


Ahmed Toure’s future with Kumasi Aasante Kotoko is in doubt, after he failed to have a part to play in his team’s 1-2 loss to Ashgold at Obuasi last week Wednesday.

The 27-year-old is unhappy about the recent happenings in the club which forced Mas-ud Didi Dramani not to use him in the entire 90 minutes at Obuasi without explaining to him why he took that decision.

There were earlier reports that Ahmed Toure had complained to the management team of the club that he is finding difficult to get goals as a striker because his team mates have purported in their hearts not to locate him with passes during play, which in a way confirmed rumours that the other playing body were not convinced with his failure to make it to their trip to Wa over Malaria fever.

Allsports.com.gh can confirm that Toure is not pleased with the recent happenings in Kotoko and has therefore confided in a close source that he would want to mutually end his romance with the league champions to enable him continue his career elsewhere.

Ahmed Toure has scored just a goal in the ongoing First Capital Plus Premier League.

The Porcupine Warriors snatched him out of the hands of their arch-rivals Hearts of Oak in October, after he had played for them in the GHALCA Top-4 during the pre-season.

Kotoko who are lying 10 on the league log, with 2 wins, 3 defeats and 2 draws, will engage WAFA in the week-end to seek their first win four league games.
