If I must, I shall: Everything is open, Adre Ayew on Marseille future


Olympique Marseille and Black Stars player Andre Ayew has revealed he is very open to all possibilities as long as his future with the French club is concerned.

Ayew who impressed at the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations and made a goal scoring return for Marseille over the weekend expressed his delight to advance in all aspects, suggesting a pay rise might make him stay with the French club.

The Ghana international however insisted on the need to leave if he must despite his love for Olympique Marseille and told RTL of his future:

‘A player wants to advance in all aspects. In my head, everything is open.

‘If I must leave then I shall. But I love Marseille. Soon we will meet about it.’

Andre Ayew has been linked with a host of English Premier League clubs with Liverpool the most recent after Newcastle United and Queens Park Rangers were all linked. Ayew’s current contract with French club Olympique Marseille runs out in the summer leaving the possibility of a move away.
