The Chief Executive Officer of Silver Star Auto Limited, Kalmoni Nouhad, has expressed frustrations over the bureaucratic procedures involved in doing business in Ghana.

According to him, the operational sluggishness of some of state institutions affect the smooth running of private entities in the country.

He cited the police service and the judiciary as some of the public institutions that slow down the smooth operations of businesses in the country.

In an interview with Starr Business, Nouhad said “sometimes there are challenges everywhere in the public institutions that we have to contend with every day.

“You know; the police, the courts and many of them sometimes make things very difficult and it’s something we have to deal with, it’s everywhere,” he bemoaned.

An Accra High court Thursday ruled on a car dispute between Silver Star and a client. Nouhad, was charged with contempt by the court for not replacing a defective vehicle for a customer.
