Controversial singer, Wanlov the Kubolor passed through e.TV’s The Late Nite Celebrity Show to talk about his daughters, fatherhood and more.
The Human Being singer talking about his fatherhood style categorized himself as a skype father.
“I never thought I would say this but I’m the worse skype father in the world. I’m a skype father because I speak to my children mostly on skype than in person. And this is because they are scattered on different continents and countries.
“It’s hard, especially in Ghana because of the light, internet and general stress to skype your child at the time you need to. I’m also a slacker so things get a bit hard to do sometimes.
He also mentioned one of the things that stressed him was how his daughter’s school was handling her school fees issues.
“My daughter has been kicked out of school but the way events are unfolding it’s some way. Because my Ghanaian wife had a daughter before we had ours and she settled all the fees of her daughter but I made her pay half of my daughter’s fees but the school keep sacking her daughter back home even though she has paid for everything. I’m not understanding that at all.”
Touching on his 32-year-old brother’s life which was stressing him currently, he said:
“There’s a lot going on in my life right now – my brother is on heroin and every once in a while I have to help him detox and this we had to do that again this morning.
“He is 32 – just one and half years younger than I am. He has been on it for over ten years now and I can show you his picture, he looks like a pen stick now.”
