It is official! Accra based broadcast journalist, Maximus Addae Mensah, is the first week winner of the GN Bank Text & Win Contest.
Popularly referred to as Dr. Pounds, the on-air presenter of Pluzz FM could not hide his excitement as he lauded GN Bank and Spyder Lee Entertainment for the initiative.
“It still feels like a dream to be receiving GHC500 for voting to support my favorite nominated celebrity in the GN Bank People’s Choice Awards. I didn’t believe it when I received the call about this and here I am now about to receive the money. Honestly, the guys behind the GN Bank People’s Choice Awards are doing a great job and they need to be commended”, he said.
The GN Bank Text And Win Contest is a competition which seeks to reward members of the general public who participate in the voting campaign of the GN Bank People’s Choice Awards on a weekly basis. Every week, a voter wins a cash prize of GHC500 plus a VVIP ticket to the main awards night on Saturday 21st March 2015 at the Accra International Conference Centre. All weekly winners will be entered into a final draw for a cash prize of GHC5,000 and the winner will be presented with a cheque at the awards night.
Members of the general public from now can vote for their nominated celebrities by texting CH plus their names to the short code 1446 on Vodafone, MTN and Airtel. Deadline for voting is Saturday 14th March 2015 and don’t forget the more you vote, the better your chances of winning in the GN Bank Text And Win Competition.
