Ghana’s Kwadwo Asamoah is two weeks away from returning to training, after a checkup on his knew brought some welcome news.
The midfielder has been out since November after undergoing surgery to repair cartilage in his left knee, an injury which ruled him out of the AFCON tournament.
However, in a statement via their official website, the Bianconeri announced that the 26-year old man will soon return to training:
‘Kwadwo Asamoah… returned to Barcelona yesterday for a check-up following his knee surgery in December.
‘Dr. Ramon Cugat, who performed the operation, said he was extremely satisfied with the progress made by the midfielder and gave him the green light to start running again within the next two weeks.
‘Further tests will be conducted in the next month to ascertain his exact return date.’
