No time to waste: Afriyie Acquah thrown straight into Sampdoria mix


Afriyie Acquah has settled into life at Sampdoria after the Black Stars midfielder trained with his new club moments after completing his loan switch from Parma, passing medicals at the Laboratorio Albaro.

Acquah had sealed the move on transfer deadline day but had to do the complementary medicals on Thursday morning after arriving in Italy following participation at the just ended 2015 Africa Cup of Nations with the Ghana national team.

And moments after getting presented with his new jersey, than Sampdoria coach, Sinisa Mihajlovic called him to join his teammates in Thursday evening’s training session.
