KKD to see psychologist; fails to appear in court again

The criminal case against ace broadcaster, Kwesi Kyei Darkwa (KKD) has once again been adjourned to February 18.

An Accra Magistrate has adjourned the case because KKD could not appear before the court due to a medical appointment on Thursday.

His lawyer, Tony Forson was represented by Susana Nyarkoa who told the court that KKD was billed to see a Clinical Psychologist on Tuesday after his medical review on Wednesday.

KKD has been charged with rape after he was arrested for allegedly raping a 19-year old girl in December 2014.

Although the alleged victim wrote to the court to withdraw the case, the Attorney General (AG) decided to pursue it to its logical conclusion.
