In-form Ghanaian striker Mohammed Anas was on target for Maritzburg United as they lost 2-1 at Bidvest Wits on Tuesday night.
The 20-year-old bagged his sixth goal of the season with the opener on 19 th minutes with a screamer of a shot from the edge of the area to put the Team of Choice in front.
But Steve Komphela’s side surrendered the lead in a 2-1 loss to their oppoents with new Students signing Lemessa heading in what proved to be the winner on the stroke of half-time at Harry Gwala Stadium.
The Team of Choice are now lying 7 th on the league table after 18 matches.
