A man has been arrested after allegedly killing a lesbian woman, whom he loved. 31-year-old Coast Guardsman Adrian Loya reportedly broke into the house of two lesbian colleagues in Massachusetts, and shot them. Worldwideweirdnews reports:
Police said that Loya was in love with one of the women, who was married to another woman.
Coast Guard Petty Officer Lisa Trubnikova, 31, died at the scene in Cape Cod. Her wife, Anna Trubnikova, 30, was seriously injured and she remains hospitalized.
Bourne Police Officer Jared MacDonald, who was the first officer to respond to the scene, was shot in the back under his bulletproof vest. He is also hospitalized in critical condition.
Relatives of Loya said that he had been obsessed with Lisa Trubnikova for years, beginning when all three were stationed in Alaska.
Loya, who lived in Virginia, drove to Massachusetts earlier this week and rented a motel room near the apartment complex where the women lived before shooting them.
