Harry Kane scored two goals in the second half as Tottenham Hotspur came from behind to beat Arsenal 2-1 in the North London Derby at White Hart Lane this afternoon.
It was the visitors that broke the deadlock though as Danny Welbeck tried to set up Olivier Giroud, and the French international’s shot was turned past Hugo Lloris by Mesut Ozil.
The hosts were back on level terms a few minutes later when Kane knocked the ball in for his 21st goal of the season, pouncing after Ospina failed to punch it clear from a corner.
Spurs could have been ahead a few minutes later, but the Colombian keeper continued to frustrate the hosts, denying Dembele before Kane was denied a chance at a rebound after being flagged offside.
Both sides were on the attack in the final 10 minutes as they pressed for the victory, and it was the home side that got the breakthrough as Bentaleb picked out Kane with a cross, leaving the striker to rise high and head it in.
The result moves Spurs up to fourth in the table, while Arsenal sit sixth.
