Police announces GH¢5,000.00 ransom against Fulani herdsman

The Eastern Regional Police Command has announced a ransom of Gh¢5, 00.00 for anybody who would provide information towards the arrest of Mohammed Omaru Baami, a Fulani herdsman.

This was announced by Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCOP) Akuriba Yaagi at a media briefing at Koforidua.

Mr Yaagi, who is also the Eastern Regional Commander of Police, said the suspect, Baami, 22, is involved in a lot of crimes, including murder, robbery, causing harm, and stealing.

He said, the Regional Police Command is after Baami together with his accomplices, Bello Umaru and three others.

Baami is about 5.6 feet tall, fair in complexion and slim.

The Police Commander appealed to the public not to hesitate to give credible information that would lead to the arrest of Baami and his accomplices.

He gave the assurance that any information given would be treated as confidential and said anyone with the information can call 0342022569, 0299206021 or contact the nearest police station.
