Ghana Coach Avram Grant is celebrating his 60th birthday in style in Malabo on Friday after supervising the Black Stars to break the jinx of not being able to win their 5th game at the Africa Cup of Nations since 2008.

He was born on Febraury 6, 1955 in Petah Tikva, Israel.

After clinching the 3-0 semi-final win over Equatorial Guinea, the former Chelsea Boss led the Black Stars to the AFCON final on his first attempt despite the violent attacks launched by fans of the host nation on Ghanaian supporters.

Grant, who claims the Blue polo shirt he has worn throughout the AFCON 2015 is his lucky shirt, could crown his success so far by guiding Ghana to end its 33-year-wait for a major trophy by ensuring the Black Stars defeat Ivory Coast in the final on Sunday in Bata to secure a 5th Nations Cup title.
