A man has been arrested on charges of s*xual assault after he allegedly sexually harassed numerous women while riding in elevators, police in China said. Shanghai Police said that they arrested the 26-year-old man identified as Ma, for sexually assaulting at least six women.
According to the police investigation, all attacks occurred between 8:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. inside elevators. The women complained that Ma, approached them from behind and squeezed their private parts.
During one incident, Ma touched a woman’s lips and her private parts. The woman defended herself by biting off his thumb, and Ma fled from the scene.
All victims are between 20 and 30 years old. Ma was arrested at his home after police were able to identify him using the elevators’ surveillance videos.
During questioning, Ma told police that he is addicted to p****graphy and couldn’t control himself.
