One of Ghana’s leading live band groups, Dayata International Band, led by ace guitarist Emmanuel Oppoku, known in showbiz as Koo Emma, is scheduled to begin a nationwide musical tour April this year.
The tour will see Dayata Band make stopovers in all 10 regional capitals and five selected districts.
Appearing on the entertainment programme, ‘AM Show’ on Pluzz FM, Emmanuel Oppoku disclosed that the band is indeed ready to take Ghana by storm, adding that live band music is the only genre that makes one feels Ghanaian when listen to.
He mentioned that the tour is aimed at reigniting the live band music in Ghana and bring back the old memories of highlife music.
According to him, top musicians such as KK Fosu, Kofi Nti, Sidney, Kofi B, among others, have agreed to support the nationwide tour.
