Ghanaian duo Augustine Okrah and Francis Cofie were both on target for Al Merriekh who drew 2-2 with Ahli Khartoum, coached by former Black Stars trainer Kwesi Appiah, on Wednesday in the Sudanese Premier League.
Okrah scored after 25 minutes from a rebound around the penalty area.
The former Ghana Premier League Most Valuable Player and Goal king was denied a clear penalty when a Ahli Khartoum player handled his cross inside the box.
He provided an assist for compatriot Cofie to score.
Okrah’s free-kick was saved and Coffie who was lurking around the penalty area had the easiest task to tap in.
