EXCLUSIVE: Ex-Hearts defender Seth Owusu signs three-year deal with Angolan side Sagrada Esperana

Ex-Hearts defender Seth Owusu has signed a three-year deal with Angolan side Sagrada Esperança, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively reveal.

Owusu, 24, signed the dotted lines on Wednesday at the Pretoa hotel in Pretoria City, South Africa,  where the team is currently on a training tour.

The former Chivas FC and Medeama left-back has joined the Angolan side on the long-term deal after refusing to renew his contract with South African side Golden Arrows.

The highly-talented defender has already hit the ground running with his first training session and will travel with the side to the Southern African country on Sunday ahead of the start of the new season on February 14.

The Ghanaian boasts decent positioning, awareness and tackling ability, showing good discipline and natural defensive instincts.

The former Ghana Under-17 and 20 defender has many intangibles to complement his defensive abilities. His work rate and tireless defending distinguishes him as a promising player.

If he impresses during his first season at the club, he will be sent to Portuguese side Benfica or Porto which has strong ties with the Angolan side.
