On the up: Eric Warden scores in Iraklis draw in Greece

Talented Ghanaian forward, Eric Warden is back among the goals after banging in his first strike of the year for Iraklis Psachna in the Greece Football League on Sunday (in video above).

22 year old Warden who is on a season loan from Super League side Levadiakos, put Iraklis ahead on 83 minutes at the Pschanna Municipal Stadium in their match day 14 clash against promotion chasers, Panachaiki.

Warden’s side however failed to hold on to the lead though and conceded the equaliser a minute after the Ghanaian striker had been replaced in injury time as the sides settled for a share of the spoils, 1-1.

It was the third goal for Warden this season on the back of twelve starts, a vast improvement on his tallies for the past two seasons during which he made a paltry 7 appearances (5 starts) in total.

The extremely talented left-footed striker boasts among his nearly four years experience playing in Europe, stints at Celta Vigo in Spain as well as Fokkikos,ย  also in Greece.

Now the 22 year old hopes his goals can keep Iraklis up in the second tier of Greece football whilst also hoping to catch the attention of Ghanaian national team selectors. Follow @thedonplato
