After going on a short break for research purposes, one of Ghana’s talented songwriters, Prophet Eric Amponsah, is back on the gospel music scene with a new style and skill.
With two albums to his credit, Eric Amponsah disclosed to BEATWAVES that all is indeed set for him to host a gospel musical concert which would be used to relaunch his gospel musical career.
The ‘Oyame Woho Daa’ composer, who won the hearts of many music lovers in the country, added that the event is being organised to thank God and his fans for supporting him throughout his musical career.
He stressed that it has always been his dream to use music to promote the teachings of Christ, hinting that the gospel event which he is yet to host “is in response to the demand from my numerous fans who have witnessed my stage performances so many times.”
Prophet Amponsah said the event is designed to seek God’s blessing and also promote quality worship and praise to the Almighty God.
The event, he said, would witness the gathering of Christians and gospel music lovers from all walks of life as well as some selected gospel musicians.
