Head coach of Inter Allies FC, Paa Kwesi Fabin has called for renewed focus from his players during away matches.

Fabin says his team’s record away from home has not been impressive so far.

Inter Allies have lost all two of their away matches played so far against Bechem United and Asante Kotoko, and this according to the coach, is not a very good result and has thus tasked the players to up their game.

“I am happy with the way we play. The players play according to instructions. But they need to be more daring during away matches and we will be fine.”

In order to make a strong case for themselves in the ongoing league, Paa Kwesi Fabin added that it was imperative to start winning away games and refused to compare Inter Allies with other clubs in the league.

“We are who we are and we have different goals and objectives from the others. I cannot compare my team to any other because we are unique in our own way.

That is why I am calling for my players to sit up this early in the season and not to repeat the catch up exercise we went through last season”, Paa Kwesi mentioned.

“On the match against Kotoko, all I can say is that we shouldn’t have lost because we played well and created many chances. But in football it doesn’t matter how many chances you create, once you don’t convert them, you will never win.”

On Wednesday, February 4, 2015, Inter Allies welcomes New Edubiase to the Tema Sports stadium in match day 5 of the First Capital Plus league.
