The former head coach of the senior national football team,James Kwesi Appiah, has commended the team for their 3-0 victory over the Syli National of Guinea at the ongoing AFCON 2015 tournament in Equatorial Guinea.
“I recognize that qualifying for the semi-finals is not an easy task, and therefore I appreciate the professionalism, teamwork, dedication and resilience that the Black Stars have demonstrated so far,” Coach Kwesi Appiah stated in an interview.
The Black Stars yesterday recorded a 3-0 victory against Guinea to qualify for the Semi-finals.
“To the players, the technical team, management, the many supporters unions and teeming Ghanaians who supported from far and near.
“I congratulate and salute you and hope that united as one, this victory will continue as the Black Stars players the semi- final game against the host national Equatorial Guinea on Thursday and go ahead and win the trophy for the fifth time, which beckons.
“Finally, I assure the team of continued support to lift the Stars to the skies where they belong,” Coach Kwesi Appiah noted.
