30 Days In Atlanta Ghana

AY’s ’30 Days in Atlanta’, which has been declared the highest grossing movie of all time in the history of Nigeria’s movie industry is set to premiere in Accra, Friday January 30.

The red-carpet event, which features AY, Ramsey Nouah, Majid Michel, Ada Ameh, Desmond Elliot, Mercy Johnson and the adorable Juliet Ibrahim is scheduled for Silverbird Cinemas at the Accra Mall, 6pm.

Seven Weeks after it premiered on October 31 in Lagos, Nigeria, 30 Days in Atlanta grossed 76 million Naira, and by Wednesday January 17, 2015, the award-winning movie had grossed 140 million, according to producer Ayo Makun more commonly known as AY.

The comedian, who also played the lead role alongside Ramsey Nouah said the movie’s success awes him.

“As a matter of fact I never expected it. This was just me going out there to do something different,” he said in an interview on the Starr Drive with Bola Ray on Starr 103.5FM, Thursday.

After the premiere in Accra Friday, 30 Days in Atlanta will remain in Cinemas across Ghana.
