Ghanaian international Michael Essien is not in talks with Basaksehir despite reports that the AC Milan player was heading to Turkey, DailySoccerGhana.com can confirm.
The 32-year-old is free to open negotiations with any club since his deal at the Rossoneri expires at the end of the season.
Essien has also been linked with moves to Trabzonspor and other MLS clubs, but FC Dallas has also ruled out a move for the midfielder.
The former Bastia and Lyon man, who joined AC Milan from Chelsea in January last year, has made only 9 appearances for the Diavolo this term.
