Controversial Ghanaian rapper, Kwaw Kese has refused invitations from some of his twitter fans to step out into the full glare of the public and smoke ‘wee’ in honour of the Ghana Black Stars who have qualified for the quarter-finals stage in the Afcon.
The Black Stars yesterday outplayed South Africa in a thrilling game at the Estadio de Mongomo Tuesday, but it was the Bafana Bafana who drew the first blood in the 17th minute’s courtesy a Mandla Masango strike from the edge of the box.
The score line in the tough game remained 1-0 in favour of the Rainbow Nation until the recess.
The win got every Ghanaian excited spontaneously sparking a twitter blitz.
But amidst the excitement, ‘Abodam’ who is facing charges for publicly smoking weed was sure not to give himself away to the temptation of implicating himself in an act that has already got him in trouble with the law.
He was asked in a tweet that: “Shall we roll a joint? In public??”, He answered: “I beg”. Another person also asked: “One roll for them or nah?” and Kwaw insisted by replying: “Masa I beg”.
After rejecting the invitation to smoke outrightly, the rapper seemed to have had a lot of fun retweeting every status update that suggests he engages in the act or teases him in that regard.
