Tunisia and DR Congo both booked their places in the quarterfinals of the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations despite playing out a 1-1 draw in a Group B clash in Bata on Monday evening.

Ahmed Akaichi opened the scoring for the Carthage Eagles in the 31st minute before a resilient display by DR Congo saw Jeremy Bokila grabbing the equalizer in the 66th minute.

In the other group match, Cape Verde and Zambia settled for a goalless draw in Ebebiyin as both nations bowed out of the continental competition.

Tunisia has now set up a quarter-final clash with host Equatorial Guinea in Ebebiyin on Saturday while DR Congo face Congo on the same day.
