Hearts of Oak centre-back Kweku Andoh has admitted that the Rainbow club’s high concession rate recorded so far in the Ghana Premier League is due to the Phobians’ ailing defense.

Hearts of Oak has conceded 6 goals after 3 Premier League match-days following the 1-0 win over WAFA, the 4-2 loss to Berekum Chelsea and the 2-2 draw with Medeama SC.

Though Coach Herbert Addo has blamed goalkeeper Seidu Mutawakilu for allowing in a cheeky goal against the Tarkwa-based club in Sekondi last Saturday. The defence committed so many blunders in the 2-2 draw with the Mauves and Yellows, according to Andoh.

“It is the defence, but I hope if we talk a lot to each other (in the backline) we can solve the problem. I hope we have a lot of days to train before the games so that we can solve this problem otherwise the games will not go in our favor,” the ex-Berekum Chelsea and Heart of Lions centre-back said.
