A Deputy Communications Director of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) says the unbridled corruption that has permeated every facet of society under President Mahama is worse than AIDS.

According to Yaw Adomako Berfi, though there were cases of corruption under the erstwhile Rawlings and Kufuor regimes, it has reached a gargantuan leveled under President Mahama.

“Corruption under Mahama is more deadly. It is killing people more than Malaria and AIDS,” he stressed.

He bemoaned how persons in government, including the President, have relegated the bread and butter issues confronting Ghanaians to the background and is rather looting state assets to enrich themselves.

Citing the infamous Woyomegate scandal, SADA, GYEEDA, Isofoton to buttress his point, Adomako Berfi said it is enough prove that the Mahama-led National Democratic Congress (NDC) only came to power to create, loot and share.

“Under the Better Ghana Agenda, Ghanaians are languishing in abject poverty; what is this,” he exclaimed.

But the foot soldiers president, as he is popularly called, said there is an end in sight if only Ghanaians will vote out the incompetent Mahama government in 2016.

Adomako Berfi said the country needs an incorruptible and visionary leader like Nana Akufo-Addo to accelerate Ghana’s development.
