Defending champions Asante Kotoko failed to impress again after rallying to draw 2-2 with Hasaacas at home Wednesday.

The Porcupine Warriors had the trip to Dormaa enveloped with a 1-0 defeat against Aduana last Sunday in their league opener and were expecting a good showcase yesterday.

But that wasn’t to be as a plucky Hasaacas side held them in front of their home fans.

However, Kotoko made a bright start at the Baba Yara Stadium when left-back Emmanuel Asante shot them ahead early on.

But Amos Korankye stunned the home fans with a well-taken equalizer before Emmanuel Ankobeah doubled their lead for the visitors to go into the break with their noses in front.

After the break, Kotoko threw men forward and Dauda Mohammed came off the bench to snatch the equalizer.

Kotoko now have just a point and lie 13th on the league table.
