The Catholic Bishop of Awka Diocese, Most Rev. Paulinus Ezeokafor, on Wednesday, urged Nigerian electorate to vote according to their conscience in the forthcoming general elections.
He made the call at St. Paul’s Catholic Church, Awba-Ofemili in Awka North Local Council Area when he paid his second official visit to the parish.
He enjoined Nigerians to cast and guard their votes jealously.
The cleric enjoined Christians to shun excessive quest for materialism and desist from acts capable of endangering their relationship with God.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Ezeokafor administered the sacrament of confirmation on 212 deserving candidates during his visit.
He also blessed and inaugurated the completed residence of the parish priest. (NAN)
