Algerian outfit MC Algiers has terminated the contract of Eric Ato Sackey after declaring the Ghanaian striker surplus to requirements at the club, DailySoccerGhana.com can confirm.
The 27-year-old almost had problems with the management of Mouloudia after earlier refusing to accept the club’s decision and continued to report to training.
MC Algiers has signed on 22-year-old Cameroonian striker Christopher Mendounga as the replacement for the former Tema Youth attacker.
Sackey joined MC Algiers from Moldovan club FC Dacia Chisinau in 2014 after enduring three loan stints at Yangon United, FC Sfintul and FC Zimbru.
