Italian Serie B side Avellino have backed off in their bid to sign Genoa’s Moro Alhassan on loan, Goal Ghana understands.
The 20-year-old is on loan at Vicenza from Genoa but has hardly had adequate playing time.
Avellino expressed interest in signing him but the club have now shifted their attention to Francesco Renzetti of Cesena following Genoa’s decision to give the budding talent to Latina.
Alhassan has also featured for Cesena on loan where he helped them to the play-off last season and his loan deal could be completed next week.
