It’s recognition time again as Charterhouse, event organiser of the prestigious annual Ghana Music Awards Festival, rolls out plans for the 2015 edition of the awards scheme with a call for entries for all works produced within the calendar year to be considered.
BEATWAVES gathered that all musical works produced and or released from January 1 to December 31, 2014, are expected to be presented to the GMA Academy for consideration in this year’s edition of the scheme.
This will give artistes the opportunity for their musical works to be considered for nomination for the 16th edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards. Deadline for submission of entries is February 1, 2015.
Artistes and Artistes Managers are advised to download the nomination forms from the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards website www.ghanamusicawards. com or pick up forms from the Charterhouse office at North Industrial Area.
The Ghana Music Awards Festival, which is by far the biggest measure of the success of music professionals, has over the past fifteen years of its existence grown into the most anticipated event on the entertainment calendar.
The Ghana Music Awards Festival seeks to recognise the songs that have kept music lovers dancing as well as award the artistes, producers, recording labels and other industry professionals whose tireless efforts in the face of adverse financial and logistical challenges have kept the entertainment industry vibrant.
