The Black Stars of Ghana begin their 2015 African Cup of Nations journey on Monday, 19 January 2015 against Senegal under new coach Avram Grant.
Former Black Stars player Rev. Osei Kofi in an interview with Accra based Adom FM strongly connected any possible triumph in the competition for Ghana to the former Chelsea coach Avram Grant.
The 1963 and 1965 AFCON winner backed his point claiming Grant had called individuals and not a team due to recent happenings in the senior national team.
Avram Grant would therefore have to get all his decisions spot on to mastermind any glory for the Black Stars in the 2015 African Cup of Nations, Rev. Osei Kofi continued.
The former Ghana international also pleaded with the Black Stars players to concentrate on winning the tournament for the nation which will subsequently deliver any monetary reward for their hard work, using Nigeria as an example.
