In a bid to start the new year on a high note, Afropop star, Eazzy, will be releasing the latest single off her third album titled Ginger next Thursday, January 19, via social media and other online outlets.

The single is a collaboration between Eazzy and francophone /Ghanaian artiste, SK Blinks.

Eazzy disclosed that the song is significantly different from her usual style because in her latest single, she employs a more francophone rhythm in order to appeal to listeners in neighbouring francophone countries.

The Emergency hitmaker said that the reason Ghanaians did not see much of her during the Christmas events and festivities was because she had gigs to plays outside the country.

Eazzy, real name, Mildred Ashong, told Showbiz in an interview last Tuesday that she has set her sights on reaching out to her fans based outside the country, hence her decision to concentrate her performances and shows to venues in locations such as London.

The former Ghanaian representative at the Big Brother House, disclosed that, she was performing at gigs in parts of London such as the Ultimate Boat Party on the Joanna Teresa Boat at East London among others.

“I was out of Ghana for shows, project buildings and studio sessions in the UK during the Christmas season. I believe that as a growing artiste, you have to understand that there are years that you have to be homebound to perform to your home fans.

There are seasons too where out-of-town concerts shows and tours are necessary to please your growing fan base out of your comfort zone,” she said.

She said 2015 was going to be a super packed year with a number of exciting projects she would be embarking on for her fans.

“Fans can expect more music that they are bound to love. I have been in the studio since last year working because I designated 2014 as my recording year.

“This was to improve on my ability and talent and also learn more musically. I am ready to feed my fans with all the good stuff I was working on in 2014,” she said.
