Finland based Ghana defender, Gideon Baah, has rated midfielder Enoch Adu Kofi as Ghana’s best European based player for the year 2014.
“I was watching him in the Champions League. Fortunately for me, I had an opportunity to play against him in a friendly before they (Malmo) faced Atletico Madrid in Sweden. He did really well in 2014 and I think he is an all round defensive midfield player,” Baah, who plies his trade with HJK Helsinki, told Accra-based Starr 103.5FM.
The former Corners Babies and Liberty Professionals midfielder enjoyed a successful season with Swedish champions Malmo FF last term, where he made 15 league appearances and featured in 10 Uefa Champions League encounters.
Enoch Adu Kofi was called up into Ghana’s 31-man provisional list for the 2015 AFCON, but could not make the final 23-man squad.
