One of the seasoned African gospel music icons, Bishop Peter Kayode, 56, has launched his much hyped hit single, ‘Arise And Shine’, at the Awakeners Chapel International located at Ablekuma in Accra.
‘Arise And Shine’ is one of the hit tracks on his latest album which has eight songs on both the CD and the cassette.
The song which is inspirational and soul-touching is basically a combination of traditional gospel rhythms mixed with other danceable gospel tunes to meet the demand of music lovers.
Ever since he dropped his third album, Peter Kayode has been well known on the airwaves and TV screens as a great singer and a pastor whose inspiring songs never fail to have a progressive impact on the gospel music industry in Ghana.
Pastor Peter Kayode, whose music has caught up with music lovers in Ghana and beyond, told BEATWAVES in a chat after the launch that ‘I have been in the music industry for the past three decades and I have dedicated my whole life and music to God to show appreciation for what He has done and continues to do for me and my family.’
He hinted that he hopes people will not only get inspired by his music, but will also receive healing.
