More signings: Kotoko sign Atta Kusi on a 3 year deal


Kumasi Asante Kotoko have signed a three-year contract with right back, Atta Kusi from Dansoman based club, Liberty Professionals.

The deal was sealed last week at the club’s secretariat in Kumasi. The former Liberty and Amidaus Professionals’ star has since started training at Adako Jachie the club’s training ground.

The 22-year old who once played for the national U-20 team, the Black Satellites, expressed utter delight when speaking with the club’s website.

‘Kotoko is a very big club. Any player that joins Kotoko becomes happy because at Kotoko, the platform is big; it is a big chance for me to showcase my talent. I am very happy about this,’ he said.

Acting General Manager of the club, Samuel Opoku Nti revealed that, the management has been looking at reinforcing the team for both domestic and international assignments.

Kotoko are in Africa this year and are billed to face Sierra Leone’s East End Lions in their first preliminary round match in the CAF champions league next month.

The Porcupine Warriors will open their title defense against Aduana Stars at the Agyeman Badu Park at Dormaa Ahenkro on Saturday.
