Exopa Sima

The late Exopa boss, Ibrahim Sima could have been saved if the Nsawam Prisons Hospital was well equipped to handle emergency cases, the newly appointed board chairman of the Prisons Council, Reverend Stephen Yenusom Wengam has said.

According to him, the fashion icon “wouldn’t have died” if adequate health measures were taken when he complained of ill health.

Speaking on Morning Starr with host Kafui Dey Monday Wengam urged government to as a matter of urgency equip the various prisons’ hospitals to enable them handle complex health cases.

“This guy who died (Sima) when they were playing football some weeks ago, he complained of body pains, the following day they rushed him to the clinic and then he was reffered to the Police hospital and then later on he died.

“If probably our clinic was well equipped, maybe we could have probably saved his life, probably he wouldn’t have died,” the Head Pastor of the Cedar Mountain Chapel stated.
