Tom Strand Coach

Former Bechem United Coach, Tom Strand will not return to Medeama SC if the Tarkwa based side decides to sign Annor Walker as the assistant Coach, DailySoccerGhana.com can confirm.

Strand left Accra on a visit to his native Sweden in December 2014 after informing the management of the Mauves and Yellows that he must be allowed to choose his own assistant coach.

The Swedish tactician claims he cannot work with Annor Walker because he and the ex-Berekum Chelsea trainer have different coaching ideologies.

“Coach is preparing to buy his ticket on Monday to return to Ghana but may not return to Medeama if Annor Walker stays. He says he cannot work with him,” a reliable source close to Tom Strand in Sweden told DailySoccerGhana.com.

Reports say Medeama is preparing to hand Annor Walker a two-year-deal on Monday to prepare the team for the commencement of the league on January 18 since the management has been unable to contact Tom Strand since his departure to Sweden.

The Medeama SC Coaching job has been vacant since November last year when Prince Owusu left to join ex-Black Stars coach Kwesi Appiah at Sudanese club, Khartoum Al Wataani.
