Premier League champion, Asante Kotoko handed out an 8-0 humiliation to Division One League outfit Galaxy Stars at the Adako Jachie Park in Kumasi on Sunday.
Defender Atta Kusi, who recently completed a move to Kotoko from Liberty Professionals, scored on his debut for the Porcupine Warriors while Sadat Wahab and youngster Elvis both found the back of the net in the test match.
Dauda Mohammed grabbed a brace to increase the tally before Captain Jordan Opoku, Richard Mpong and ex-Berekum Chelsea attacker Obed Owusu all registered their names on the scoring sheet to contribute to the avalanche of goals.
The Kumapem lads were using the warm-up game to prepare for their 2015 Premier League opener against Aduana Stars in Dormaa on Sunday.
