Mrs. Dzifa Abla Gomashie-Ahiaglo, Deputy Minister for Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts this morning posted a picture and message on social media directed at event organizers.
The picture showing the Deputy Minister presenting an award to Nanahemaa Adjoa Awindor has ushers posing alongside the recipient.
Tin kon kon kon tin kon!
Event organisers…do you see something wrong in this shot. What and why are they posing and competing with Nanahemaa Adjoa Awindor the recipient of the award I am presenting?
In Theatre we never see the stage hands/ costumers as part of the characters on stage.
If the ushers are waiting to carry the trophy/plaque/ award, they must step aside. They are not a part of the award if you know what I mean.
While we are at it, can you also indicate where your invited guests are going to sit and please do ensure you know how many of the dignitaries are honouring your invitation.
PROTOCOL LAPSES take away a lot from your well organised programmes.
See how the Military do it and learn a thing or 2 from them as we strive to perfect our act and trade. One Love!
Dedicated to my hardworking friends in Event Management.
