It was an atmosphere of merrymaking and emotional awakening when the multiple award winner, Tic -Tac, stormed the Kumasi Children’s Home on December 24, 2014 to organise a Pizza Party for the inmates.
The crusader gave the kids a treat of their lives, as he provided Christmas caps for the hundreds of children in the home.
In partnership with Gennex Pizza, he provided them with pizza, hot chicken wings accompanied with assorted drinks and other products from Twellium Industrial Company Limited.
He performed a couple of hit songs which the kids and staff of the home sang along and danced to. He later posed for the cameras with them.
In order to unearth their talents, he also organised a dancing competition for the kids.
He urged the children not to see where they find themselves as a barrier, but develop ‘the can do spirit’ and rise above all challenges to the top.
‘Don’t see this place as a barrier; believe that with determination and hard work, you can become any great person you can think of. Always dream to be at the top and obey instructions as given by your superiors,’ the Pum Pum hit maker added.
He indicated that giving out to charity has always been his hallmark and on a day like that, he saw it prudent to put smiles on the faces of the down-trodden who don’t have parents to carter for them.
He promised the home of his continuous support and urged others to emulate the kind gesture.
The supervisor of the Kumasi Children’s Home, Madam Victoria Asugynya, expressed her gratitude to Tic-Tac and his team for such a kind gesture.
She indicated that it was the first time someone brought a whole crew and equipment to set up on their premises, baked and served hot Pizza to the children and staff.
Madam Victoria praised the artiste and his team for their thoughtfulness and asked for God’s blessings in all their endeavours. The children also expressed their joy at the gesture.
