A Deputy Communications Director of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC) has scoffed at what he says is the opposition New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) penchant to discredit the unprecedented achievements of the Mahama government.
According to Fred Agbenyo, the opposition party is moving heaven on earth just to make the National Democratic Congress (NDC) unpopular in the country
The NDC communicator was reacting to the NPP’s claims that the Mahama-led administration has done nothing since it came to power.
The opposition party wants the NDC government out of power in 2016 because it has brought nothing but misery to Ghanaians.
But Fred Agbenyo on Peace FM’s morning show, Kokrooko, said the NPP’s posture towards government is not surprising.
He explained that just like a habitual drunkard, the NPP is intoxicated by the unprecedented achievements of President Mahama in only two years.
Deputy Communications Director maintained that the unparalleled socio-economic achievement under Mahama is giving the NPP sleepless night.
Citing the numerous infrastructural projects ongoing across the country to buttress his point, he stressed that President Mahama will fulfill the Better Ghana Agenda promise before 2016.
Fred Agbenyo said despite the wrong perception being espoused by the NPP, fete chalked by President Mahama is next to Ghana’s first president, Dr. Kwame Nkrumah.
