Ghana striker Abdul Majeed Waris is still in the Black Stars camp in Seville, Spain, despite his exclusion from the final 23-man squad for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations due to a muscle injury, DailySoccerGhana.com can confirm.
Waris was kept in camp on the orders of Coach Avram Grant because the Trabzonspor attacker is expected to recover by next Friday after being given a 10-15 day by doctors to return to full fitness.
The Israeli trainer has asked the medical team of the Black Stars to monitor the recovery of the 23-year-old Right to Dream Academy graduate.
The former BK Hacken goal-poacher suffered the injury while featuring for Trabzonspor against Eski?ehirspor in the Turkish Spor Toto League on December 29th.
