The Senior Pastor of 7-day Pentecostal Assembly at Espresso in the Ashanti region, elder Enoch Ofori, in collaboration with free the Mined Movement West Africa have cautioned the public against Genetically Modification (GM) foods since it has a negative impact on health which he they revealed was gradually killing Ghanaians.
Genetically Modification is an artificial method of growing foods against the uses of natural seeds which indirectly affects our health as persons.
These GM foods is acquired through scientific combination of two genes of a fruit, vegetables and any other natural food seeds, to give attractive look for consumption. This obviously reduces the normal maturity period of that natural product.
This was revealed during a 3-day camp meeting program of the 7th day Pentecostal Assemblies held earlier this year in Kumasi.
The Coordinator of Free The Mind movement, Mr. Israel Nkrumah, speaking at the event said the use of such product generated from the GM has adverse effects on the human immune system.
According to him, the uncounted death occurring in the country coupled with unusual diseases is the main cause.
The GM according to him, was founded by US citizens Brigitte and wife Melinda Gate with motive to control food growing in the world in order to reduce the population and to eliminate black men from the system.
He cited the contraceptive corn locally known as “Obaatampa” corn, to best example. The contraceptive corn is basically grown to reduce birth rate in the country. Other’s includes cocoa, variety of maize crops, vegetables, fruits among others.
The GM law was passed in parliament of Ghana in 2010, during the late president Mills regime.
He is therefore urging government officials to immediately issues measures to control growing of such seeds in the country.
However, the senior pastor of the 7th day Pentecostal Assemblies elder Enoch Ofori jnr demonstrated biblical facts against such practices saying is in divers with the word of God.
He said, such practices will affect Ghanaians’ in the long term as well as calling Lords judgments in the country. He advised, Ghanaians to watch what we eat of days to help keep our years longer on earth.

The Culture of Death is Self-imposed

There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death (Proverbs 14:12).
In the way of righteousness is life; and in the pathway thereof there is no death (Proverbs 12:28).
Man is staring down two great paths going in opposite directions. One is his own path; the other is the path of righteousness originating in the divine. There’s no telling the obvious path to choose. But don’t be too quick. Man is notorious for choosing what appeals to his senses (not what has lasting benefit) no matter what the consequences might be.
Jesus put it in another way, recommending the path to choose, but He was in no doubt as to the preference of the majority:
13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in there at:
14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it (Matt. 7:13-14).
The main ‘drawback’ to the narrow way of life which puts “many” off is what it is—restrictive. It’s the self-denial it imposes; the denial of worldly lusts and behaviors it demands in favor of the values of heaven. This is what the flesh finds unattractive. Hence many take the broad way where the flesh is granted the latitude to do as it wants. But the broad way of the carnal man leads to destruction. So then, given where it leads to—life—the narrow way has no drawback but for the hostility of the flesh. That’s why the Lord was at pains to stress:“Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able” (Luke 13:24).
Sadly, since the dawn of history, man has shown a tendency to choose Satan’s way of death over God’s spiritual way of life. He piloted it in the Garden of Eden where he rejected God’s way of life presented to him as the superior alternative to Satan’s way of death.
God’s way was represented by the Tree of Life and Satan’s way the Tree of Good and Evil, both standing in the midst of the Garden (Gen. 2:9; 3:3) Even so, God ensured that the good and the holy and the righteous dominated the choices of man, as, in addition to the Tree of Life, God produced from the ground a variety of fruit-bearing trees that were “good for food”, in contrast to the one tree of good and evil:
9 And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.
16And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:
17But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die (Gen. 2:9, 16-17).
Today, the opposite is true. Evil dominates the choices of man—all because of the bad choice our first parents made. There the devil sowed the first seeds of humanism, coaxing him, be your own god, be the master of your own destiny:
4 And the serpent said unto the woman, ye shall not surely die:
5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil (Gen. 3:4-5).
The crude humanism begun in Eden has since found expression in the various worldly ideologies which now govern the nations. Human intellect has been put on a pedestal, placing man at the centre of his own world. Even if God exists, He’s presumed to be irrelevant to man’s wellbeing, and, instead, man must look to himself for salvation and improvement in life.
In just a few generations from fallen Adam, the situation had gone from bad to worse. Come the time of the Prophet Enoch, and the rejection of God’s way was nearly universal but for Enoch who walked with God (Gen. 5:22-24; Jude 1:14-15).
The time of Noah witnessed another low point in man’s relationship with God, a time marked by the brazen endorsement and practice of Satan’s ways of death. Yahweh, in exasperation, declared:
And the LORD said, My Spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years (Gen. 6:3).
That is, ‘My Spirit shall not contend with man’ by Noah’s preaching inspired by the Spirit of the Messiah in him (Pet. 3:19-20; 1:11). He also meant the inner conviction of conscience by which He rebuked and reasoned with man but to no avail (see Rom. 2:15; 1 John 3:20).
And He put down the cause to one thing—“he also is flesh”. Man was given to the lusts of the flesh; he took delight in ungodly acts and was so incorrigibly set in them in an ever festering manner to yield to correction!
5And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.
6And it repented the LORD that He had made man on the earth and it grieved Him at His heart (Gen. 6:5-6).
This evil heart of man, which is devoted to the devil’s way, has not has it easy returning to God because it is in bondage but for the freedom the Savior grants to those who yield to Him:
Romans 7:24-25
O wretched man that I am! Who shall deliver me from the body of this death?
I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.
John 8:36
If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.
Since the days of Noah, God has continued to engage with man, primarily the people of Israel only to be rejected by the majority of the people as evidenced by the rejection of the message of the Prophets.
In the fullness of time, the Prince of Life, Yeshua the Messiah, the Light of the world, arrived on earth with God’s consummate truth, and He was similarly rejected by the majority of the people. Nevertheless, He made clear His mission in a world held in bondage by the dark power of Satan:
The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly (John 10:10).
Since this announcement, the power of darkness has tightened its grip on the unrepentant masses of humanity who wouldn’t make Christ the Lord of their lives (2 Cor. 4:3-4).Through “the princes of this world” (1 Cor. 2:8), the elites of this world, Satan has perpetrated the theft of our God-given principles for living, the theft of true morality, the theft of our peace of mind, and even the theft of the wholesome food the Creator gave us!
On the religious front, the least said the better. It’s a complete Babel! At least locally, in Ghana, he has managed to replace salvation in Christ with salvation in objects like blessed bangles, blessed soap, blessed soft drinks and holy water among other religious paraphernalia sold at high prices to people. The gospel has been commercialized, stripped of its saving power and reduced to nurturing the little empires of so-called ministers of God who have made themselves demi-gods! But that’s not the true Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. That’s a false representation of it; that’s a satanic bastardized mercenary version of it! The true Gospel anticipated its latter-day corrupted rival and warned accordingly:
Matthew 7:15
Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
2 Peter 2:1-3, 17-18
1But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.
2 And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of which the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.
3 And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.
17 These are wells without water, clouds that are carried with a tempest; to which the mist of darkness is reserved for ever.
18 For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error.

Things have only gotten worse.
The Age of Artificiality and Unnatural Lifestyles has arrived!
It’s a sad observation, but ours is an age where the natural way of living as ordained for us by God has been abandoned in favor of a way of life dominated by artificiality and the unnatural. Thus in the name of ‘alternative lifestyle’ and ‘human rights’, a man sleeps man, and they call it gay; a woman sleeps with a woman, and they are lesbians; a man sleeps with a man and then with a woman and he’s a bisexual; a man or a woman undergoes a sex change and is called transgender. All four categories of unnatural sex practitioners are usually grouped under the umbrella name LGBT Community, initials for Lesbian Gay Bisexual and Transgender. But we have in no way seen the most repulsive kind of sexual deviance. Man sleeps with beast, and that is bestiality, sorry, zoophilia!
The UK Daily Mail newspaper recently reported in its online edition how a bestiality craze is sweeping through Germany and bestiality brothels are rapidly springing up in the country because shockingly, but not so shockingly, it’s legal for a human being to sleep with an animal in Germany!
Under the heading “Bestiality brothels are ‘spreading through Germany’ warns campaigner as abusers turn to sex with animals as ‘lifestyle choice’”, the newspaper reported:
Bestiality brothels are spreading through Germany faster than ever thanks to a law that makes animal porn illegal but sex with animals legal, a livestock protection officer has warned.
Madeleine Martin told the Frankfurter Rundschau that current laws were not protecting animals from predatory zoophiles that are increasingly able to turn to bestiality as a ‘lifestyle choice’.
The Daily Mail report continued:
…’There are now animal brothels in Germany,’ Martin told the paper, adding that people were playing down the issue by describing it as a ‘lifestyle choice’.
Armed with a host of similar case studies, Ms Martin is now calling for the government to categorically ban bestiality across the country.
…There are even ‘erotic zoos’ which people can visit to abuse animals ranging from llamas to goats (http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2352779/Bestiality-brothels-spreading-Germany-campaigner-claims-abusers-sex-animals-lifestyle-choice.html).
There’s a call for a ban on bestiality in Germany but the sex-crazed zoophiles will likely get away with it. It’s their “lifestyle choice”!
But I call it an assault on the natural order (and all norms of decency) inspired directly from hell! It’s a symptom of the wholesale rejection of God’s way. Ours is an age defined by an acute lack of true wisdom as shown by the deeds of a people who profess to be wise:
22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,
23 And changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and four-footed beasts, and creeping things.
24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonor their own bodies between themselves:
25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.
26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompensed of their error which was meet.
28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient (Rom 1:22-28).
There’s a steady decline in wisdom, a slippery slope down a moral abyss from one degree of folly to another! And all rooted in the loss and/or rejection of the true knowledge of God and the proper way to worship Him. There’s a thin line between spiritual bankruptcy and moral bankruptcy. The holy God pronounces death upon all individuals who engage in unnatural carnal acts (a category which would include bisexuals and transsexuals):
Ex. 22:19
Whosoever lieth with a beast shall surely be put to death.
Lev. 20:15-16
15 And if men lie with a beast, he shall surely be put to death: and ye shall slay the beast.
16 And if a woman approach unto any beast, and lie down thereto, thou shalt kill the woman, and the beast: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.
Lev. 20:13
If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.
Rom. 1:32
Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.
On the Day of Judgment, God will exact the death sentence, which means barring them from His Kingdom and casting them into hell fire “which is the second death” (1 Cor. 6:9-11; Rev. 21:8).
Yahweh, the Creator of heaven and earth, takes strong exception to homosexuality and bestiality and all such perverse, bestial acts. He calls them disgusting and confusion:
Lev. 18:22
Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.
Lev. 18:23
Neither shalt thou lie with any beast to defile thyself therewith: neither shall any woman stand before a beast to lie down thereto: it is confusion.
By “abomination”, He means “disgusting”, “morally repulsive”; abhorrence. By “confusion” (Heb. tebel), He means “mixture”, “unnatural”; that is, a mixing of two unrelated kinds whose relationship can only be described as unnatural; bizarre!
But in “this present evil world” (Gal. 1:4), it’s somebody’s choice of lifestyle, and his human rights guarantee it to him! “They declare their sin like Sodom” because Sodom is here just as the Prophet Isaiah prophesied:
Except the LORD of hosts had left unto us a very small remnant, we should have been as Sodom, and we should have been like unto Gomorrah (Isa. 1:9).
The shew of their countenance doth witness against them; and they declare their sin as Sodom, they hide it not. Woe unto their soul! for they have rewarded evil unto themselves (Isa. 3:9).
Right on cue! The ongoing worldwide campaign of ‘sodomization’ in the name of human rights did not escape the prophetic lenses of God. It’s a trend set to engulf the whole world community, leaving a holy “remnant”.
I hope and pray that you stay true to your Christian calling, which is “a holy calling” (2 Tim. 1:9). Otherwise, you will fall by the wayside. The Western world only has to sanction what God declares disgusting, and almost the whole world follows suit.
But it’s a sad development. It’s heart-rending how the African tends to imitate the European whose philosophy is largely shaped by the belief that there’s no God and that all the resources for man’s welfare and development are to be found within himself which is, at best, composed of “good and evil” and at worst “evil continually”. In carnal man “dwelleth nothing good” (Rom. 7:18).
Not surprisingly, the problems of modern man have only increased and the solutions proffered by the intelligentsia have been scarier still. The evil in man is in the driving seat. The solutions being proffered by the self-styled saviors and leaders of the world are properly speaking mal-solutions that pose threats to the welfare of the earth’s inhabitants.
As we saw during the presentation on “GM Seeds (of Destruction) and Africa’s Green Revolution”, the creation of genetically modified food is a case in point, though it’s by no means the only scientific intervention that is set to leave a bad taste in the mouth of the world.
An ideology of death is on the loose! And the promotion of abominable lifestyles like homosexuality (which we just looked at) is one sure way of decreasing the human population.
Gays don’t procreate.
