Ethiopian cargo airliner veers off runway at Kotoka; three injured

An Ethiopian cargo plane overshot the runway at the Kotoka International Airport in Accra on Saturday afternoon, has gathered.

The three-member crew on board are currently receiving treatment at the 37 Military Hospital.

The development, according to our sources, caused massive panic among passengers at the airport.

A source within the tower-control room who confirmed the incident to said the situation although normal, rarely happens in Ghana.

The cargo flight was traveling from Togo to Ghana.

Details emerging indicate that the accident was caused by bad weather.
